Accessibility statement

Prepared on 6 October 2026.

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use this website and to enquire about their event. We've built it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard most people use as the benchmark.

What we've done

  • Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move around them.
  • Everything can be used with a keyboard, including the menu, the form and the carousel on the home page (use the left and right arrow keys). The focus outline is always visible, and there's a "skip to content" link.
  • Text and buttons were checked for colour contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Every form field has a label, and if something's wrong the message says what, in words and with an icon, not colour alone.
  • The layout works on phones and when you zoom in or enlarge the text.
  • The home page has a small moving star, and the diagram on the 360 booth page has a phone circling a guest. If your device is set to reduce motion they stay still, and pressing the Escape key stops or restarts them for everyone else. The booth video on the home page plays silently while it is on screen; tap it to pause it, and it won't play by itself if your device is set to reduce motion or to save data. The map of where we work moves for a few seconds when you reach it, and not at all if you've asked your device to reduce motion.
  • Photos will have written descriptions as they're added.

What we know isn't perfect

This statement is based on our own checks, not an independent audit, and we haven't yet tested with every screen reader and device. The map of the areas we cover is a picture, so the towns are also listed in plain text beside it. We are a new business, and as real photos and videos are added we'll keep checking they're described properly.

Tell us about a problem

If you find something on this website hard to use, or you'd like information in a different way, please tell us the page and what went wrong. Email clx2events@gmail.com or ring 07877 762445. You can also enquire about an event by phone or email instead of using the form, and we'll fix what we can.
